How does the camera rep detection work?

ScrollLift processes motion tracking on-device to count exercise reps (like squats, pushups, or situps). We do not record, transmit, or review workout videos. No video data leaves your phone.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed directly by Apple. To cancel:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap your Apple ID profile name at the top.
  3. Tap Subscriptions.
  4. Locate ScrollLift, and tap Cancel Subscription.

How do I request a refund?

Since all transactions are processed through the Apple App Store, refunds are handled exclusively by Apple. You can request a refund by visiting Apple's support page: reportaproblem.apple.com. Developers cannot approve or issue App Store refunds directly.

Is Screen Time access safe to approve?

Yes. ScrollLift uses the official Apple Screen Time API (FamilyControls) to block and unblock your designated apps. This is a privacy-first API: ScrollLift only sees that a parent or user configuration allows app blocking, but we cannot inspect your browsing history, message content, or personal application data.

Troubleshooting Checklist

1. App shields are not blocking apps

  • Verify Screen Time is turned on inside iOS Settings.
  • Navigate to iOS Settings > ScrollLift and verify Screen Time / Family Controls permission is set to Allowed.
  • Make sure you have selected apps inside the ScrollLift configuration layout.

2. Camera fails to count squats/reps

  • Ensure you have granted camera access inside iOS Settings > ScrollLift.
  • Position the camera so your full body or skeletal outline is visible. Side angles or partial visibility can impair landmark tracking.
  • Ensure correct lighting. High contrast helps the on-device exercise detection identify movement.

3. Restore purchases fails

  • Verify you are signed in with the same Apple ID used to make the purchase.
  • Check your internet connection to allow verification requests to Apple and RevenueCat.
  • If the problem persists, contact us at support@scrolllift.com with your App Store transaction receipt.
